karsen's 1st surgery

Thank you. brachial plexis is torn or damaged nerves which function her arm. In Karsen's case she had torn nerve which affected her left arm. She had no use of her arm until she had the surgery. They grafted nerves from her leg and transfered them to help with her arm. Once the nerves grew, she started getting movement. She had to have another surgery later which helped with wider range of motion. It's pretty amazing what they can do! She does not have full motion of her arm but pretty close. She has been through a lot. thanks Jess for answering for me. Haven't had much time lately!
