Description

ON CHRISTMAS EVE - ANDREW DID NOT PLAY W/ HIS TOYS - HE MADE A ROBOT OUT OF ONE OF THE BOXES. HE ENTERTAINED EVERYONE THAT EVENING. I ALWAYS THINK ABOUT HOW THIS WORLD IS MOVING WAY TOO FAST. I WISH IT WAS LIKE WHEN I WAS LITTLE. WE COULD GO TO SCHOOL BARE FOOTED - WE HAD MORE THAN JUST ONE 10 MIN. RECESS A DAY. WE COULD WALK TO THE STORE AND WE WERE SAFE. WE DIDN'T HAVE CELL PHONES.... OR COMPUTERS OR GAMES... WE ENJOYED FRIENDS... SITTING OUTSIDE AND TALKS AT SUPPER TIME. I SURE DO MISS THE GOOD OLE' DAYS...

Thank you for your kind words. I always think about how I want my children to enjoy the simple things in life... We did and it's what I remember today.... I thought these pictures were just perfect for that. Again, thank you.

Hi Ruth and thank you. I stayed up late doing this - I was having withdrawls again from not being able to do any LO's. Hopefully I will have more time soon to do more.... Take care.

This is so true! You have inspired me to give all three of our boys boxes for Christmas next year and forget technology! You son is very creative and entertaining. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me as usual!

Thank you... I once heard this ... and if everyone decided to do this then I think we would all be alot happier.... For Christmas give your children - Something they want, something they need, something to wear, and something to read. I keep trying to throw away Andrew's box - but, he REFUSES... ha.
