Description

We recently moved to Minnesota from Arizona, because my husband took a corporate promotion. It has been very hard to say the least, being away from our families. My daughter and my mom are so close, its been a difficult few months for all of us. So last month in August we surprised her and flew in to Phoenix for a week. We had such a good time, but it gets harder and harder to say goodbye, and my daughter is now realizing that. So anyway...I am going on and on. So this page is of the two of them when we were in Arizona. This kit is by Creations by Karen and is called Precious Moments. Thanks for looking!

Wow..Arizona to Minnesota that's quiet a change.....It reminds me of when I moved from Tenn to Kansas....you know, mountains to praire. It took some getting used to.. I wish you well.. especially this winter. Will it be your first winter in Minn? Think of the great photo ops. I love what you are doing with MM. You alway showcase the pictures so beautifully. The first thing I saw when I looked at this picture was two beautiful smiles. LOL

This is so sweet... and touching... breaks my heart! It's always so hard. As I mentioned before my husband is working in Canada... (on a 2 year contract). He only comes home approx. every 2 months or so... and is only home for about 9 days... Being we live in Louisiana it's too far for us to go see him... (I have a few questions re: MM - I will be emailing you. Been up to 1am and 12:30 am the last two nights.... I did download some free pages and kits from shabbyprincess.com last night.. thanks to all of your help.. and Andrea's help.) Thank you!

Thank you ladies! Ruth, we moved here the end of November last year, so we have experienced winter...ugh. But it was a totally new experience for all of us so I am trying to embrace it and look at it as an "adventure". I know it's not forever. I took so many pictures of snow, my neighbors I think, my neighbors thought " what is that crazy lady doing out there again, taking pictures!" I know what you mean, about mountains to prairie, I always look out of my kitchen windows and I look for mountains, and they are never there! Total culture shock- ....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Jenna, before we moved up here, my husband started working and he was here and we were in Az, for about 2 1/2 months, but he came home every other weekend, and I hated it! I can't imagine, two years, and every two months. I feel for you. God bless you, not sure if I could do it! I guess you do what you have to :) One thing that made it a little better so we could see each other daily, we bought two webcams, those were great, now we use them to talk to family and friends back home. Email me, with any questions, or if you just want to chat! Thank you both for your support and kind words,

Jessie you have wrote comments on my pages before...nice to get to know people a little better thru their stories and pictures. Someday you will look back and realize it only made you stronger. I know it's hard. I was born and raised in snow...and now live by the beach, in South Carolina, will admit this is much better. I miss by daughter who is still back in Wisconsin, but everyones lives change and everyone must grow in their own direction. Best of Luck Very nice page!!!

O.K. If the picture and description didn't get me half way through a box of tissue, all the comments most certainly will do the job! I felt a lump in my throat while I was reading that. I remember seeing your LO about the sunset you caught, but I had no idea the difficulty the move has had on your baby and your mom, which adds to your plate. I was born and raised (3rd generation redneck!) in West Texas. All my family is here and WE AIN'T GOIN' NO WHERES! Well, that just proves it! Another reason to scrap. You keep scrapping every single breath that baby takes and every Minnessota snowflake and send them to ur mom! (MM needs a chat forum!!!!!)
