My DD seemed so young to me when she went to teach in Korea..it was hard to let her go so I was glad to get this photo of her looking so well and happy. The kit is Green Flair by verena Karolyl

Oh my gosh, the second LO is FANTASTIC!!!!! I love the picture of her as a child in the background, so touching! Another great job Ruth! Its perfect!!!!!

Thanks Jesse. It kind of brings tears to my eyes to look at this LO. I thought my heart would break when she left but it was such a great experience for her ... no matter how grown up they get a mother always sees the little girl in the background.

She was in Korea for two year.. a long to go without seeing her.. she came back and completed her M.A. and then went to Rome and taught for two years.. she's close by in TN now. Thanks for looking.

I really like the second one...I think I will need to use your idea of the child in the background and then the present as the main picture. Very nice. I have not had much time lately to look at others work, I really miss it...hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful Christmas. Merry Christmas to you.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! IT DID BRING TEARS TO MY EYES.... IT'S SO TOUGHING... AND A GREAT IDEA TO USE HER CHILDHOOD PHOTO IN THE BACKGROUND.. I TOO MAY HAVE TO DO A LO LIKE THIS.

Thanks Jenna. I had completed the first LO and picked up the picture of her as a little girl to scan and I thought thats about how young you looked to me when you got on that plane..so I decide to add it to the background.
